A rundown of recent crimes in Walnut and the City of Industry

 

WALNUT

Friday, Feb. 17

Vehicle burglary – reported at 2 a.m. in the 21800 block of Arbor Court.

Thursday, Feb. 16

Vehicle burglary – reported at 9 p.m. in the 21800 block of Oakwood Way.

Wednesday, Feb. 15

Petty theft, auto parts and accessories – reported at 7:45 p.m. in the 20300 block of Yale Drive.

Tuesday, Feb. 14

Vehicle burglary – reported at 5:30 p.m. in the 500 block of Grand Ave.

Assault with a deadly weapon, gun – reported at 2:05 p.m. in the 19800 block of Vista Hermosa Drive.  Sean Kent, a 40 year-old suspected of shooting his brother during an argument, was arrested two days after the incident.  Read more here.

Grand theft vehicle – reported at 10 a.m. in the 19900 block of Valley Boulevard.

Monday, Feb. 13

Grand theft vehicle – reported at 8:30 p.m. in the 20400 block of Fuero Drive.

Friday, Feb. 10

Petty theft, shoplifting – reported at 8:30 p.m. in the 500 block of North Grand Ave.

CITY OF INDUSTRY

Wednesday, Feb. 15

Vehicle burglary – reported at 12:30 p.m. in the 17500 block of Colima Road.

Sunday, Feb. 12

Petty theft, shoplifting – reported at 8:40 p.m. in the 17400 block of Colima Road.

Petty theft, shoplifting – reported at 2 p.m. in the 17500 block of Castleton St.

Burglary, other structure – reported at noon in the 17500 block of Castleton St.

Saturday, Feb. 11

Petty theft from an auto – reported at noon in the 20800 block of Currier Road.

Grand theft – reported at 4:50 a.m. in the 16000 block of Loukelton St.
