Thousands have their moment (and hours) in the sun Saturday at 54th annual Mt. SAC Relays.

The $27 million environmental impact report for the project is expected to be released Thursday, ESPN reported. If things go according to plan with the EIR approval process, the project could be shovel-ready by this time next year.
