Marta Chausée -

Author, artist, life coach and counselor.   I started out as a Spanish language student teacher and wound up being a boutique owner, forensic document examiner, mental health counselor, writer, artist and architectural-scale mosaicist, among other manifestations.

Today, i live in a treehouse with my luck dragon, Falcor, in the college town of Claremont, secret jewel in the crown of Southern California.  I devote a large percentage of my working hours to my writing, while maintaining a small, private practice of life coaching and counseling.  I author murder mysteries under my given name and other genre literature, creative non-fiction and self-help books under various noms de plume.

For fun and for harvesting new material, I like to travel, bicycle, ski, laugh, dance, sing and play.  I enjoy art, antiques, theater, movies and good times with good friends. I live large and like a sun-dial-- I count only the bright moments.

I cling to my dream of one day being a back-up singer or a honky-tonk piano player.  An international tour as either is a possibility.

Marta,
I found it interesting that you used to be a Spanish teacher. I love the Spanish language, customs and people and, when I have the time, I work on improving my Latin American Spanish skills. Unfortunately, I don't have as much time as I'd like to devote to that. Planning my third novel in the mystery/suspense genre and promoting my writers forum online is my number one priority right now.
